Democratic Majority May Grow

Democrats claimed a comfortable House majority in Tuesday’s midterm elections and appear poised to also capture control of the Senate pending a final vote tally in Virginia, as voters across the country voiced widespread frustration with President Bush and the Republican Party’s leadership.
