Spring has Sprung

After a relatively dreary and rainy period took hold earlier last week, the clouds parted and temperatures warmed into the mid-60s Thursday and Friday causing Washingtonians to celebrate the return of spring.

On Capitol Hill, the Congressional recess allowed many people to enjoy the better weather. While people filled outdoor cafés, others, including this person in Upper Senate Park, simply sat outside and read during the lunch hour on Thursday
