‘The Wiz’ Opens New Season at the Atlas

The Atlas Performing Arts Center’s second full season opens tonight at 8 p.m. with “The Wiz,” a rendition of the 1975 Broadway musical based on “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” by L. Frank Baum. The performance is presented by Expansion Dance Project.

The show continues through the weekend with two performances each on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets range from $7 to $15 and are available at atlasarts.org or by calling 202-399-7993.

The Atlas is located at 1333 H St. NE.
