Up-and-Coming Lobbyists
Young equestrians took to the Capitol on Tuesday in support of a bill by Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) aimed at preventing the slaughter of horses for human consumption. Landrieu, left, was joined by 58 riders from Ursuline Academy in New Orleans, the Madeira School, Washington Episcopal School and Georgetown Day School. Her daughter was part of the group, and is shown center left in the striped shirt.
