Friends in High Places

Country artist Garth Brooks looks at costumes worn by entertainers before a news conference Tuesday on memorabilia he donated to the National Museum of American History. A broken guitar, the singer’s first gold record and a Stetson cowboy hat are among the items he donated. The collection will be on display in the “American Treasures” section of the National Air and Space Museum beginning in January 2008.
