State Speaker Jeff Merkley (D), hoping to oust Sen. Gordon Smith (R) this fall, is in the midst of campaign swing dubbed “100 Towns for Change.”

The campaign tour, in which Merkley will visit 100 communities over the next several weeks, began late last week in Myrtle Creek, the town where Merkley was born.

The Merkley campaign is keeping a record of the tour online with a blog, pictures and videos.
