Retiring Rep. Tom Davis (R-Va.) has inked a deal with Deloitte, the consulting giant confirmed on Monday. Davis, who starts at Deloitte Consulting next Monday, will work in the firm’s federal government services division on “technology innovation and government transformation issues, while providing strategic guidance to help us better serve the federal government,” Deloitte Managing Director Gene Procknow said in a statement. “We are excited to have Congressman Tom Davis join Deloitte’s Federal Government Services. Congressman Davis is a leader in the federal government, and throughout his career he has been active in issues that impact federal agencies and workers,” Procknow said. “Davis earned a reputation among his constituents and colleagues as a strong advocate of federal employees and as an expert in federal procurement policy.”
