Emergency Democratic Caucus Set for 5:30 p.m.

House Democrats will hold an emergency Caucus meeting at 5:30 p.m. to discuss the stimulus package. Democratic leaders wanted to vet the final agreement on the measure before moving into a joint chamber conference committee to formalize the details. Senators announced a $789 billion package earlier Wednesday. But moments later, House and Senate leaders had to postpone the conference meeting so that House Members could review the agreement.
