Lobbyists to Meet With White House Ethics Adviser

Representatives from the American League of Lobbyists, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, and the American Civil Liberties Union are set to meet with White House ethics adviser Norm Eisen on Friday.The groups recently sent a letter to White House Counsel Gregory Craig expressing frustration at the Obama administration’s recently minted lobbying restrictions on stimulus funds.The meeting is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the White House, according to ALL President Dave Wenhold.“We’re excited to have the meeting and that they have this open-door policy,— Wenhold said. “We’re hoping to figure out what they wanted to accomplish with the memo.—
