Sotomayor Back for Second Round of Meetings Wednesday

Supreme Court nominee Judge Sonia Sotomayor will be back on Capitol Hill on Wednesday to continue her round of courtesy calls, meeting with 10 Senators. After starting with the Senate leaders and the chairman and ranking member of the Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, Sotomayor will continue working her way through the rest of the Senate. Wednesday she will hold sessions with seven Democrats and three Republicans, meeting with Sens. Ben Cardin (D-Md.), Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Judd Gregg (R-N.H.), Herb Kohl (D-Wis.), Patty Murray (D-Wash.), Olympia Snowe (R-Maine), Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) and Ron Wyden (D-Ore.). Sotomayor will also meet with Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), with whom she had lunch on Tuesday.
