Franken to Be Sworn In Tuesday

Sen.-elect Al Franken (D-Minn.) will be sworn in Tuesday, bringing the chamber to full capacity at 100 sitting Senators.

Vice President Joseph Biden will swear Franken in at 12:15 p.m. on the Senate floor.

After eight months of legal challenges, former Sen. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.) conceded the 2008 Senate race to Franken this week after the state Supreme Court ruled that Franken was the winner of the contest.
