Bennet ‘Checks’ on Health Care in Colorado

Sen. Michael Bennet, like many lawmakers, has been busy adding to his campaign war chest to prepare for the 2010 election.

The Colorado Democrat used a different kind of venue — President Obama’s town hall meeting on health care in Grand Junction — to send a short message following Saturday’s event:

*”Dear Friend,
I wanted to send you a short note after the town hall with President Obama in Grand Junction.
It was great to stand with the President and make the case why we must pass health care reform this year. I was honored to be singled out by the President for my efforts to reform health care.

Please forward this message to 5 of your friends today. Thank you for your support.”*
