Ginsburg Released After Brief Hospitalization

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was briefly hospitalized Wednesday night after she collapsed on an airplane preparing to leave for London.According to the court, Ginsburg was taken to the Washington Hospital Center at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday “after an apparent adverse reaction to a sleeping aid combined with cold medication she took immediately after boarding an overnight flight bound for London.— She was released from the hospital Thursday.Before the flight took off, Ginsburg, 76, fell from her seat after experiencing what the court called “extreme drowsiness.— The justice was kept at the hospital overnight for observation.This is third time this year that Ginsburg has been hospitalized. Last month Ginsburg was hospitalized after falling faint following a treatment for an iron deficiency. Earlier this year, Ginsburg was hospitalized when she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
