Despite Ailing Mother, Baucus Will Return for Saturday Vote

Senate Finance Chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont.) will be in attendance during the Saturday night vote on a health care reform bill that he helped write, his office said.Baucus has been in Montana for most of the week tending to his ailing mother.“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Senator Baucus will be present tomorrow for the vote to proceed on health care reform legislation as the Senate takes another critical step towards providing quality, affordable health care to all Americans,— Baucus’ office said in a statement Friday.
