Kerry’s Daughter to Escape Prosecution for Drunken Driving

Sen. John Kerry’s (D-Mass.) daughter Alexandra will not be prosecuted for drunken driving following a traffic stop last Thursday night in Hollywood, Calif.Alexandra Kerry, 36, was arrested after being pulled over for a traffic violation; she was administrated a field sobriety test and then taken into custody. She registered a blood alcohol content of 0.06, which while below the 0.08 legal limit still subjects her to charges under California law.“We’ve declined to file charges in that matter due to insufficiency of the evidence,— Frank Mateljan of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office told the Agence France Press on Monday.
