Harmer Takes 2nd Swing at Congress

Two months after losing a race for a seat in Congress, California attorney David Harmer is running again — in a different district.calif-harmer.jpg

The Republican has set his sights on the seat held by Democrat Jerry McNerney in California’s 11th district.

In an e-mail to supporters sent Monday, Harmer wrote that after the November special election in the neighboring 10th district, which he lost by 10 percentage points to California Lt. Gov. John Garamend, he was “relieved to return to private life.”
