White House Talks Resume at 1:30

Updated: 1:23 p.m.The White House and Congressional Democrats will resume talks aimed at combining the House and Senate health care reform bills at 1:30 p.m., according to a White House source.White House officials said they made substantial progress Thursday with the deal on taxation of high-cost health insurance plans. Negotiators continued to press forward during talks at the White House that began Thursday evening and continued into early Friday morning.
