Ads Target Brown on Climate Change

Sen.-elect Scott Brown (R-Mass.) hasn’t even been sworn in yet, but environmentalists are already launching Web and television ads targeting the incoming Senator on climate change legislation.Funded by Clean Energy Works, a coalition of more than 60 national security, business, labor, business, faith, scientific, economic and environmental groups, the ads, which start running Monday, will be on several Web sites, as well as on cable and some network stations in Massachusetts.“Scott Brown says he won the ‘people’s seat,’— Clean Energy Works Communications Director David Di Martino said. “The people of Massachusetts overwhelmingly support a comprehensive clean energy and climate policy.—Di Martino declined to comment on how much the group was spending on the ad campaign, except to say that it will run for at least 10 days.
