Obama to Meet With Senate Democrats Wednesday Morning

President Barack Obama will literally meet Senate Democrats in the middle on Wednesday morning, addressing the Conference’s annual retreat at the Newseum, midway between Congress and the White House on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Obama “will answer questions from the Senators after he concludes his remarks,— according to a release from Majority Leader Harry Reid’s (D-Nev.) office, which notes that Senators will meet “for an issues conference to discuss policy, strategy and message for the coming year.— Obama is expected to meet with Senators at 10 a.m.

Last week, the president spoke at the House Republicans’ annual retreat in Baltimore and participated in a televised question-and-answer session. It is uncertain whether Obama’s visit with Senate Democrats will be televised.
