Photo of the Week: Senator to ‘Senator’

[IMGCAP(1)]Just hours before the polls close Tuesday in Pennsylvania, Sen. Arlen Specter (left) greets MSNBC personality Chris Matthews at the Famous Fourth Street Delicatessen in Philadelphia. Matthews, a Philadelphia native and host of “Hardball,” briefly contemplated challenging Specter early in this election cycle — but that was before Specter switched parties and became a Democrat. Specter crisscrossed the Philadelphia area Tuesday in search of last-minute Democratic primary votes. The deli is a regular stop for Democratic operatives on Election Day.
