Palin Endorses House GOP Website

Hours after its launch, the new House Republican website AmericaSpeakingOut.com received an endorsement from one of the party’s most high-profile figures: former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

Palin, the 2008 vice presidential nominee, touted the website on her Twitter and Facebook accounts Tuesday afternoon.

“Washington isn’t listening to the people. Speak out at https://www.americaspeakingout.com/ and take back your government,” she tweeted.

In a post on her Facebook page, Palin wrote that the website was “a great forum for those who believe it’s time to stand up and be heard!”

“Led by Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives, a new project is now launched called ‘America Speaking Out’ which is aimed at giving us a direct role in putting together a new policy agenda for our country based on the principles of smaller, more accountable government,” she wrote. “It’s time to take back our government and put it on our side. Remember it’s ‘We the People’!”

House Republican leaders held a press conference earlier Tuesday to unveil the website, part of a broader agenda project they plan to release this fall.
