California: Reuters/Ipsos Survey Shows Tight Contest

Republican Carly Fiorina is giving Sen. Barbara Boxer (D) a close race, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll.

The poll conducted June 25-27 found Boxer ahead 45 percent to 41 percent, with a 4-point margin of error.

The survey, which sampled the opinions of 600 registered voters, also found that more Republicans (64 percent) than Democrats (57 percent) described themselves as closely following campaign news.
