Minnesota: From the E-Mail Account of Bill Clinton

Former President Bill Clinton has sent out a fundraising letter to help Democratic state Sen. Tarryl Clark in her uphill battle to unseat Rep. Michele Bachmann.

“The people of the 6th District deserve a leader who will deliver results instead of divisive partisan rhetoric, who will roll up her sleeves and get to work on the critical issues instead of just getting people wound up about them,” the Clinton e-mail says.

Bachmann is a national name in conservative politics. She is a fiery speaker who formed the official Tea Party Caucus in the House.

Clark, who is trying to portray Bachmann as too much of a lightning rod for Minnesotans, has been a very solid fundraiser, but she’s still not as good as Bachmann. And Clark has been spending her money, so she could use the help Clinton is offering.
