Carter ‘Feeling Normal’ After Hospital Stay

President Jimmy Carter is “feeling normal” after staying overnight in a Cleveland hospital with an upset stomach, according to a Wednesday statement from the Carter Center.

The 39th president “is feeling normal this morning. His doctors at MetroHealth Medical Center recommended additional observation during the day. He looks forward to resuming his schedule as soon as possible. President Carter was admitted to MetroHealth yesterday after developing an upset stomach on a flight to Cleveland,” the statement read.

Carter, 85, has been traveling to promote his new book, “White House Diary.”
