Eco-Friendly DCCC: Now With Soy Ink

In case you were wondering, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is very eco-friendly. A recent fundraising solicitation mailed to a home in Washington, D.C., where no one had ever donated previously and obtained by Roll Call, includes three tiny images proving how environmentally sound the DCCC’s mailers really are.

The letter, from Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), includes a “2011 Membership card” with a smiling photo of President Barack Obama.

There’s the standard recycling image but also a graphic showing three windmills with a “wind powered” label and a graphic proclaiming the envelope was “Printed with soy ink.”
