Tinseltown will take over the Ronald Reagan Building tonight for the D.C. premiere of “Five,” an anthology of short films delving into five (natch) different women’s reactions to their lives being thrown into upheaval by the appearance of breast cancer.

Hollywood emissaries on loan for the evening include Jennifer Aniston (executive producer and director of the “Mia” installment), Jeanne Tripplehorn and Patricia Clarkson.

The political world will be represented by Jill Biden (wife of Vice President Joseph Biden), who is scheduled to deliver the opening remarks; Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.), who is also expected to say a few words; and a grab bag of other sympathetic lawmakers and administration officials.

The event, sponsored by Lifetime, will also serve as the de facto kickoff for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Didn’t get your invite? The rest of us commoners will just have to catch “Five” when it hits the boob tube (sorry) at 9 p.m. Oct. 10.
