The House will consider several measures under suspension of the rules, including bills on airport baggage screening and Department of Homeland Security audit requirements. The chamber also expects a possible motion to go to conference on the fiscal 2013 defense authorization bill.

The Senate will resume consideration of a bill that would extend for two years the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation’s Transaction Account Guarantee program, which provides unlimited deposit insurance coverage for non-interest-bearing transaction accounts.
