Congratulations to CQ Roll Call photographer Chris Maddaloni, whose photograph of Karen Duckett, “Call for Help,” has won a 2013 White House News Photographers Association Eyes of History Award of Excellence in the On Capitol Hill category. Duckett spoke about her troubles with unemployment at a December news conference that called for the renewal of federal programs that were set to expire.
