McConnell Says Midterm Races ‘Yet to be Won’

Minority Leader Mitch McConnell would not discuss what a Republican-led Senate agenda would look like if the GOP recaptures the majority this November, but said there’s “almost no likelihood” Democrats would win the House.

 

“I think the races are yet to be won,” McConnell said at his weekly news conference Tuesday. “We’re hoping to have a really good year. We’re hoping the American people will agree with us that it might be time to try something different after six years in a row of the same old thing.”
