Reid: Talk of GOP Taking the Senate is ‘Premature’

Majority Leader Harry Reid would not answer hypotheticals about losing control of the Senate this November, instead reasserting the strength of Democratic candidates during his weekly news conference on Tuesday.

“All elections are the same in this sense: anything six weeks or two months out from an election is all based upon the candidates, not what’s going on nationally,” Reid said. “I just think any talk about Republicans taking control of the Senate is really premature and not based upon fact.”
