Boehner Rebuts Susan Rice on Netanyahu Visit

Speaker John A. Boehner fired back at the Obama administration Thursday after National Security Advisor Susan E. Rice earlier in the week called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to Congress next week “destructive.” Boehner said he “couldn’t disagree more.”

“The American people and both parties in Congress have always stood with Israel. Nothing, and no one, should get in the way of that,” Boehner said at his weekly news conference. “But what is destructive in my view is making a bad deal that paves the way for a nuclear Iran.”
