New Regional Navy Commander Named

The Virginian-Pilot reports that “the next assignment for the commander of the Navy’s 20-state Mid-Atlantic Region will be overseeing installations in some of the world’s hot spots.”  

“The Navy says Rear Adm. Rick Williamson will become the commander of Navy Region Europe, Africa, Southwest Asia in March. The command is headquartered in Naples, Italy, and provides shore service support to U.S. and allied forces and families in the region.”
