Bill Introduced to Prevent Illegal Immigrant Housing on U.S. Military Installations

KCENTV.com reports that “U.S. Rep. John R. Carter, R introduced The Resist Executive Amnesty on Defense Installations (READI) Act Friday which would prohibit illegal immigrants from being housed on U.S. military installations.”

“This bill was introduced to counter The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) request assistance from the Department of Defense to have several military bases house illegal immigrant minors. The bill would ensure no military installation would be required to house any illegal immigrants.”

“According to a press release, Carter said the Military’s core mission is the defense of our nation and must not be jeopardized by the fallout from the presidents failed immigration policies.”
