Ever think about what your favorite show may have in common with Congress?

While you’re jumping around the kingdom of Westeros, watching Selina Meyer yell at Gary or wishing you could un-see what malicious crime Frank Underwood just committed , does everyone’s favorite legislative body ever come to mind?

We polled readers on the Roll Call website and they picked HBO’s “Veep ” as the show that represents Congress the best, ranking it ahead of “Game of Thrones” and “House of Cards .”

Maybe it’s because there is someone in your office just like communications director Mike McLintock? Or perhaps your boss will occasionally say something that would only be funny out of Selina Meyer’s mouth?

Either way, enjoy thinking about Congress when you’re watching “Veep” on Sundays at 10:30 p.m. EDT — like you’re not already thinking about it 24/7.
