Notre Dame tops women’s tournament ahead of tonight’s men’s final

Notre Dame beat Mississippi State in the women’s NCAA basketball championship game Sunday night, and Republican Rep. Jackie Walorski, who represents Indiana’s 2nd District where the Fighting Irish are located, is the winner of Roll Call’s 2018 women’s tournament.

The men’s championship game is Monday night. The University of Michigan Wolverines and Democratic Rep. Debbie Dingell — who beat the Loyola University Chicago Ramblers and Illinois Democrat Jan Schakowsky on Saturday — will face off against the Villanova University Wildcats and Pennsylvania GOP Rep. Patrick Meehan, who emerged victorious over the University of Kansas Jayhawks and Republican Rep. Lynn Jenkins. Tip-off for the final is at 9:20 p.m.Check out the 2018 Roll Call March Madness brackets, updated with women’s championship and the men’s final four results.
