Tempers erupted at House markups this week, with Republicans taking up contempt recommendations against Attorney General Merrick B. Garland and GOP Oversight members delaying their meeting on it for a quick trip to New York City to appear at a certain former president’s hush money trial. Other highlights included disruptions at a graduation ceremony, non-bisexual bills, kicking the [expletive] door down and more.
