CQ Roll Call photojournalists are among WHNPA’s The Eyes of History winners

CQ Roll Call photojournalist Tom Williams’ photo of House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries conducting a news conference on Nov. 25, 2025, won the Award of Excellence in the On Capitol Hill category in the White House News Photographers Association’s The Eyes of History contest, which recognizes the best in visual journalism.

The association also announced other award-winning photos over the weekend.

Willams’ photo of Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer, D-N.Y., conducting a news conference on May 20, 2025, also won the Award of Excellence.
