The six national party committees reported improved financial conditions by the end of February, but some committees still carry debts, and one committee received more than $100,000 from members of the Koch family and their company. The four Congressional committees benefited from PACs paying their yearly dues. Each brought in more than $1 million from PACs and other committees. The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee reported receipts of $6,766,303 and disbursements of $3,701,236 during February, leaving $18,053,086 cash on hand at the end of the month, along with $1,250,000 still owed on an outstanding loan. During the month they repaid $1,250,000 on their outstanding loan from Bank of America, the remainder of which is due on March 31, 2014. Selected donors include Sen. John D. The National Republican Senatorial Committee reported receipts of $5,474,291 and disbursements of $2,740,107 during February, leaving $12,753,036 cash on hand at the end of the month, and no debts. Selected donors include Charles G. Koch (executive VP, Koch Industries, KS) $32,400; Mr. C. Chase Koch (vice president, Koch Nitrogen Company, KS) $32,400; and Julia F. Koch (homemaker, KS) $32,400. The committee also received $15,000 from the Koch Industries PAC. Other donors included Armen Avanessians (managing director, Goldman Sachs, NY) $32,400; John K. Castle (CEO, Castle Harlan Inc., FL) $32,400; Marianne Castle (FL) $32,400; Thomas Finke (CEO, Babson Capital Management LLC. NC) $32,400; among others. The Democratic National Committee/DNC Services Committee reported receipts of $7,493,452 and disbursements of $6,276,751 in February, leaving $6,963,853 cash on hand, with outstanding debts of $15,217,270. The Republican National Committee reported receipts of $7,148,265 and disbursements of $6,939,611, leaving $10,025,258 cash on hand, with no debts. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee reported receipts of $6,432,419 and disbursements of $4,246,311 during February, leaving $34,410,591 cash on hand at the end of the month, with no debts. The National Republican Congressional Committee reported receipts of $5,128,557 and disbursements of $4,357,648 during February, leaving $24,773,236 cash on hand, and no debts.
