</center> The Senate Appropriations Committee holds a 2 p.m. hearing Wednesday on the U.S. response to the Ebola virus, which has <a href="https://www.reuters.com/article/2014/11/08/us-health-ebola-who-idUSKBN0IR1VO20141108" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">killed more than 4,900 people</a> since the <a href="https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa1411100?query=featured_home#t=articleBackground" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">outbreak began in December 2013</a> .  </p> <p> Dr. Thomas R.
