One of them said he's probably rescued 15 people in the water that day but tried to escape the flames by going out into -- the major general, who is with the state National Guard, thanked the president for all the support from FEMA and from INDOPACOM. To emphasize how much INDOPACOM is doing behind the scene, they're doing a huge number of important things in support of this recovery operation, including moving material when it needs to get here, including providing mortuary teams, additional search-and-rescue capabilities, offering basically the same support they can to do fire suppression.

They have fire suppression capabilities, indigenous to INDOPACOM. They've brought them to the various fires and continue to bring them in Maui and other places in the city of Hawaii. They are now shifting mostly, as you know, to the recovery of those who have been lost. We know the power poles came down. That's a big thing that we've seen in a lot of places that haven't invested in modernized poles.
