First Lady Melania Trump Unveils New Fostering the Future Together Technology Alliances, International Events, and Membership Expansion
First Lady Melania Trump today reconvened members of Fostering the Future Together during the 81 st United Nations General Assembly.

The First Lady welcomed leaders from around the world, including representatives from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Republic of Korea, the Philippines, Poland, Ukraine, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, Panama, Canada, and other nations.

First Lady Melania Trump remarked, "Together, we are a beautiful range of cultures, languages, histories, and traditions. And yet, we stand unified around one everlasting truth: the future of our world will be determined by what we do for our children today."

First Lady Melania Trump unveiled several upcoming Fostering the Future Together events for 2026:

First Lady Melania Trump also announced new private-sector technology partnerships with Adobe, Amazon, Intel, Starlink, Google, and Zoom. Tim Cook, Executive Chairman of Apple and Enrique Lores, CEO of PayPal, also attended.

The First Lady welcomed new member nations, expanding Fostering the Future Together to fifty-seven participating countries.

Calling on the assembled First Spouses to act, First Lady Melania Trump said, "Our Fostering the Future Together coalition must strive to empower the youth of our nations to: bend the boundaries of imagination, explore new frontiers of intellect, have the courage to take calculated risks, and build toward advancement of society."

Fostering the Future Together now unites nearly 60 nations, many represented here today. You have traveled great distances in support of our children, bringing together distinguished leaders from Panama, the Republic of Korea, Kenya, Albania, Estonia, Dominican Republic, Guatemala and beyond.

Together, we are a beautiful range of cultures, languages, histories, and traditions.

And yet, we stand unified around one everlasting truth: the future of our world will be determined by what we do for our children today.

Fostering the Future Together is more than a coalition. It is a commitment to empower children through technology and education, to ensure that every child, regardless of where they are born, has the opportunity to imagine, learn, create, and thrive.

When nations speak with one voice, the world listens. Our collective influence is profound. Together, we can open doors, move markets, shape policy. And most importantly, we can change lives for the better.

Each of us has been entrusted with the responsibility of leadership.

Ideas once confined to science-fiction novels and films have become part of our everyday reality. What once seemed impossible is becoming ordinary.

Today, we can converse with AI, video call our families from any place on the planet, hold an entire computer in the palm of our hand, use self-driving cars, enter virtual worlds, and use biometric ID to access our bank accounts, airport terminals, and homes. The list is exhaustive.

Artificial intelligence is transforming entire business sectors and expanding how humanity accesses the largest corpus of information ever available to humanity.

But access alone is not empowerment. We must give our children the tools--and teach them how to use those tools wisely.

I would also like to take a minute to thank our private-sector tech companies who have also stepped up to empower our children: Adobe, Amazon, Google, Starlink, Zoom, and Intel. Thank you for empowering children with access to technology, all over the planet.

When we gathered at the White House for the inaugural meeting of Fostering the Future Together, we witnessed something very powerful. Our first spouses were inspired to act--and several made meaningful commitments.

I thank Ms. Marcos from the Philippines, who has committed to hosting a Fostering the Future Together event at the upcoming ASEAN conference in Manila. Poland's Marta Nawrocka will host a regional European Fostering the Future Together event for members this winter.

The First Lady of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Diani Prince-Drew, is organizing and hosting our Caribbean Fostering the Future Together conference before the new year–perfect timing to gather in that beautiful region of the world. Thank you.

Last week, President Donald J. Trump removed CNN, MS NOW, and Politico from the White House grounds after years of false reporting . The First Amendment protects their right to publish; it does not entitle them to a hard pass, briefing room seat, or place in the press pool.

Access changes are nothing new. What is new, however, is the sudden claim that it becomes sacred only when the outlets are friendly to the Radical Left. The rule was never "every outlet gets in." It was always "our side stays in."

For years, Democrat Administrations have restricted, punished, and locked out the press.

2009: The Obama White House branded Fox News as the "research arm" and "communications arm" of the Republican Party, barred it from a round of exclusive Sunday show interviews, instructed agencies to "skip" including it in pooled coverage, derided it as "really not news," and undertook an all-out effort to

isolate the organization. Barack Hussein Obama now calls a Fox ban "unimaginable," but his White House tried it -- and his spokesman admitted they were willing to do it.

During the first 100 days of President Trump's second term, the Media Research Center found that 92% of coverage by mainstream outlets was negative compared to nearly 60% positive coverage during the same period under Biden. That's more like a political operation with cameras than a free press holding power to account.

First Lady Melania Trump Releases Details Ahead of His Excellency Xi Jinping, President of The People's Republic of China, and Madame Peng Liyuan's Visit to The White House
President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will welcome His Excellency Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China and Madame Peng Liyuan to the White House on Thursday, September 24, 2026, for an official state visit. This visit comes more than a decade since President Xi and Madame Peng's last visit to the White House, marking a significant milestone in the relationship between the two countries.

On Wednesday, September 23, the President will greet His Excellency, Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China and Madame Peng Liyuan at Joint Base Andrews.

On Thursday morning, September 24, the President and First Lady will host a State Arrival Ceremony honoring His Excellency, Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China and Madame Peng Liyuan. The ceremony, which will be held on the South Lawn, State Floor, and Rose Garden of the White House, will feature 479 military personnel, representing all branches of the United States Armed Forces.

As the arrival begins, the South Drive will be lined with the Armed Forces Full Honor Cordon leading to a national flag display of U.S. and China flags where the United States Army Herald Trumpets will present a fanfare on the South Portico as the President and First Lady welcome His Excellency Xi Jinping and Madame Peng Liyuan to the White House.

On the State Floor, "The President's Own" United States Marine Band will play the national anthems of the People's Republic of China and the United States of America, followed by remarks from both The President and His Excellency Xi Jinping.

The ceremony will also feature a Presidential Salute from the United States Marine Silent Drill Platoon and United States Joint Forces Command on the South Lawn. There will then be a Military Review in the Rose Garden where The United States Army Herald Trumpets will line the roof of the West and Oval Colonnades. Military demonstrations will be performed by the United States Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, the United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon, and "The Commandant's Own" United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps. The ceremony will conclude with a military flyover featuring a B-2 Spirit and four F-22 Raptors.

After the arrival ceremony, Mrs. Trump and Madame Peng Liyuan will visit the Smithsonian National Museum of Asian Art to explore works spanning centuries of artistic achievement and Sino-American cultural exchange.

On Thursday evening, the President and First Lady will greet His Excellency Xi Jinping and Madame Peng Liyuan upon their arrival to the North Portico of the White House for a State Dinner in the East Room. The Office of the First Lady will share additional details on the State Dinner on Wednesday, September 23.

On Friday morning, the President and First Lady will greet His Excellency Xi Jinping and Madame Peng Liyuan upon their arrival to the South Portico of the White House for tea in the Red Room of the White House. Afterward, the couples will travel to the National Archives in Washington, DC where they will view a variety of important records and documents significant to the American and Chinese relationship throughout history.

To conclude the historic State visit, the President and First Lady will bid farewell to His Excellency and Madame Peng Liyuan at the National Archives.
