Ted Stevens (R) will stand trial in Washington, D.C., in September after a federal judge declined his request Wednesday to move the proceedings to an Alaska courtroom.
Judge Emmet Sullivan set the trial date for Sept. 24, but noted that it could be delayed one or two days depending on the status of other cases.
