“Donald’s right, and I agree with him,” Putin said during his yearly news conference. But members of both parties on Capitol Hill called his decision a major win for all those U.S. foes.
The virtual fisticuffs began when the Fox News host responded to a statement Sasse released Thursday calling out President Donald Trump for challenging some network news outlets’ licenses.

Trump has been harshly critical of the media since even before he took office, but he has mostly kept his complaints about the “fake news” to gripes about networks or newspapers.
