The Supreme Court issued a one-page order that agreed with the request until it hears from the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, the other side in the case, by Sept. 9.
The 77-page brief comes ahead of oral arguments in the high-stakes legal challenge to President Barack Obama’s actions announced in November 2014.
