The revitalization of H Street got a boost over the weekend with the opening of Imagine U Unique! at 1012 H St. NE, a clothing store specializing in customized, hand-painted garments or “urbanwear,” as co-owners Anthony Williams and Domonique Mobley have dubbed their goods.

Previously, the shop was located at 15th Street and Constitution Avenue Northeast.

In addition to clothing, Imagine U Unique! will add current-affairs and fiction books by contemporary authors to its retail portfolio.

The store — open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday — will also feature a community computing center with three computers and Internet access.
