Clinton’s Political Memoirs Just the Latest

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s (D-N.Y.) memoir, “Living History,” scheduled to be released Monday, is creating a buzz nationally and right here on the Hill. With a first run of about 1 million copies and leaked details about her reaction to the Monica Lewinsky affair, the book could be a blockbuster in the publishing world. Her 1996 book, “It Takes a Village,” spent 20 weeks on the New York Times Bestseller List, three of those at No. 1. But not all political tomes have done as well.
