Bye-bye, Blackann

Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Texas) bids adieu to Deputy Press Secretary Laura Blackann, who has moved to the office of California Rep. John Doolittle (R), where she will serve as communications director.

Blackann, who has worked in the DeLay press shop since February 2001, is a native of Laguna Niguel, Calif.

An alumna of Santa Barbara’s Westmont College, Blackann earned a bachelor’s in communications in May 2000.
