Scaffolding has consumed the rotunda in the Cannon House Office Building lately, allowing Architect of the Capitol workers to give the ceiling a much-needed coat of fresh paint. The scaffolding ascends 81 feet, and the last time the ceiling was repainted was 1987, an AOC spokeswoman said.
