Ballet Members Will Read ‘Coppelia’

Members of the Washington Ballet will read the classic children’s story “Coppelia” at 1 p.m. Saturday at the downtown Barnes & Noble Bookseller.

The Washington Ballet will perform “Coppelia” at the Kennedy Center March 31 through April 4. Dancers in the performance will be on hand for photographs, and tickets to the performance will be given away.

“Coppelia” tells the story of a dollmaker who creates a life-size doll named Coppelia who comes between a young woman, Swanhilda, and her fiancé, Franz.

Tickets for the Kennedy Center performance start at $44 and are available by calling (202) 467-4600.
