Breathe Easy

The Office of Emergency Planning, Preparedness and Operations will offer an escape-hood training course March 29 for House staffers. [IMGCAP(1)]

The goal is to familiarize attendees with the Quick2000 Escape Hoods, which are designed to provide breathable air in the event of a chemical or biological attack and are located throughout the Capitol complex. The office is working in conjunction with the House Sergeant-at-Arms and Capitol Police Department.

The class begins at 9 a.m. in Room HC-5 of the Capitol. Registration is not required.
